I can think of no one better to love her than St. Cheryl our Lady of the Strays. <br /><br />I think dogs know. They know deep down in a very basic real way. I remember once I cried. I mean a deep down, gagging, heart howling cry and Shug just came up and laid down against me and put his paw on my arm and looked at me with those big brown eyes, I love you. <br /><br />I miss his wagging blondness when I come home. I miss the weight of him against me at the food of my bed. I even miss the smell of wet dog.
